Discover the City of Lakes
The City of Lights (aka Paris) might be first to come to mind for romantic weekend getaways, but we’re here to prove that the City of Lakes is just as special. There may not be an Eiffel Tower here, but there is the iconic Foshay Tower, and instead of the Seine River, we have the scenic Mississippi. And instead of tiny, old hotel rooms, we have this spacious, contemporary loft that’s ideal for two (but roomy enough for 4) in Minneapolis’ trendy North Loop neighborhood.
Bed & Bath
This condo can sleep up to 4 guests, but it’s ideal for couples, duos or solo travelers:
- Bedroom: 1 cozy king bed, separated from the living room with a partial wall for privacy
- Living room: 1 queen pull-out couch, large enough for 2 guests
There’s plenty of closet space in the bedroom, and contemporary artwork adds a pop of style. Our freshly laundered, high-quality bedding will make you want to sleep late the next morning!
The bathroom is located outside of the bedroom so it’s convenient for all of the guests, and it includes a large glass shower, toilet, and sink. We provide toiletries, towels, and a hair dryer so you can pack light and look fabulous.
Living Space
Enjoy hotel room-style novelty with all the comforts of home in the living area, where you can snuggle up for movie night on the cozy couch with a fun coffee table to hold your popcorn!
You’ll definitely want to plan at least one date night at a fabulous North Loop restaurant, but a night in is also a perfectly excellent option. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you could need to whip up your favorite dishes, including dishes, glasses, utensils, and cookware. Appliances include a refrigerator, freezer, electric stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, and coffee maker. With a high-top table for two, it's the perfect spot to enjoy a delicious meal together.
Creating a sophisticated vibe, the loft features tall ceilings, polished concrete floors, and large windows that let in lots of natural light.
Building Amenities
Head up to the rooftop deck for panoramic views of the Minneapolis skyline, plenty of outdoor seating options, and BBQ stations where you can try your hand at grilling a Minnesotan classic, the Juicy Lucy.
On the first floor, you’ll find a swanky Member’s Lounge with a custom shuffleboard table.

- All check-ins are contactless! To provide this service, we require a photo of yourself holding your ID to verify your identity, to be emailed or texted to our reservations department prior to check-in. No exceptions.
- Bookings made within 7 days of arrival will require additional documentation.
- A Minnestay Rental Agreement must be signed prior to arrival. This will require that you provide us with your email address.
- This is a 100% smoke-free property (tobacco, cannabis, e-cigarettes, vape, etc). There is no smoking allowed on the balconies, rooftop patio, or within 25 feet of the building's entrances.
- No events! This home is designed for families and responsible adults.
- No pets are allowed at Sable. Certified Service Animals are welcome and will need to be mentioned prior to booking.
- Consumable amenities provided by Minnestay are not refilled during stay.
- Quiet hours: 10PM-7AM, strictly enforced.
- This building is located in an urban, downtown area and you may experience construction and traffic noise during your stay.
- There are security cameras located on site, in the common areas of the building.
- Loss of key fobs, and/or parking passes will incur a $250 fee per key/fob/pass.
- Fines up to $2000 per violation will be accessed to anyone found breaking these rules.
- Direct bookings or other online booking sources may be subject to a 3% cancellation fee.
Deviation from these rules can result in an eviction from the premises with no refund, as stated in the signed rental agreement.

✓ We provide contactless, "self" check-ins. To provide this service, we require a selfie of you holding your ID to verify your identity prior to check-in.
✓ Our minimum renter age is 25 years old.
✓ The Fitness Center is located in a neighboring building. Passes are available for $10 per day plus taxes. Please inquire with reservations to reserve a pass.
✓Quiet hours are from 10pm until 7am and strictly enforced. Noise violations will result in a minimum fee of $150 per violation.
✓ No pets are allowed at Sable. This includes in the units and common areas of the building, including the 9th Floor Roof Top patio and 1st Floor Member's Lounge. Service Animals are welcome and will need to be mentioned prior to booking.
✓ This building is in an urban area and you may experience construction noise during your stay.

"The unit itself is lovely and just right for two people. The bed was comfortable, everything was clean, and matched the description/pics. The location is also wonderful and puts you within walking distance (or a short drive) from so many things.
I cannot emphasize enough, however, how awful the check-in process is. I travel frequently and have stayed in several Airbnbs all over the world. I consider myself well versed in navigating these types of things and it was still entirely too complicated. Once you understand the process it’s not even that difficult which makes it more confusing why Minnestay chooses to use such poor communication/directions. Additionally, they send you the comms over multiple different channels which only adds to the confusion. Please find a way to improve and streamline the check-in process/comms for future guests."

"We come every year to MN to go to the Mayo Clinic in Rochester and by far this was the best airbnb that we booked. Loved!!! the area. We were able to walk to so many fun spots and the vibe was so cool! The apartment was easy to find and parking in the garage was easy. The apartment itself was perfect. It had everything we needed. "Perfect location for our stay in Minneapolis. We stayed for a few nights in June at Sable Minneapolis. The location was perfect for my family of three- walkable to the Twins game at Target field and in the opposite direction easy access to running along the river bank.
Without kids we might have spent more time in the nearby restaurants and bars but as is the coffee place next door suited our needs.
The different channels of communication approached a bit much at times- I felt like I had to check my text messages for the building door code but then find the key code on a website and parking instructions in an email- none of which were directly through the AirBnB platform. I navigated it fine but it felt unnecessarily complicated. In the end I had no big problems parking at the deck, getting inside the building, or getting my keys.
Overall I would definitely return to Sable Minneapolis especially if I were in town for a Twins game."

"A nice micro-loft in a vibrant, walk-able area (coffee shops, restaurants, and bars) that is very convenient to downtown as well. Clean and well-equipped. So I highly recommend in that regard. I also loved that we parked in the garage at the same level as the unit, which is super convenient.
However, check-in/check-out seemed too difficult. Emails were long and convoluted. (Maybe at least bold critical items so they are easy to find.) Plus, information and instructions were scattered in multiple places (texts, numerous emails, guest portal) so I seemed to always be searching for the code or the link or the instruction or whatever. I am accustomed to getting one email with everything I need to know about the Airbnb rental, and things going much more smoothly. We did appreciate that someone was available to assist us by phone when we got stuck.
And just a heads-up - the place is a little tight for two, so I do not recommend trying to fit 4 in this space."

"In a great location in the North Loop area, the condo is just steps from a coffee shop, a brewery, nice restaurants, and a high-end food court--all in the courtyard behind the building. Also, the dedicated parking space was really convenient. The condo had everything we needed and was super clean, neat, and nicely appointed. I was using a knee wheeler cart following foot surgery and found the space a bit tight, but able-bodied people should have no problems moving about. The condo is small without a wall between the bedroom and living area; accordingly, you should be comfortable with the people with whom you share the space. It is great for one or two people. At the time of our visit, the garage next door was under construction. Knowing it was an urban location, we were not expecting things to be super quiet and were not particularly bothered. The only annoyance was the Key Cafe system which required a bit of study ahead of time to make it work."

"North Loop is a great place to stay if you plan on going to a Twins game! Or want a quiet area close to downtown. Walking distance to many breweries and restaurants!
I asked for an early check-in or a place to store my luggage because the Twins game was at 1pm. They could not accommodate which is understandable because someone was in the room the night before. I did not want to leave my luggage in the secure garage and I’m glad I didn’t because we saw a car broken into in the garage.
No hot water one day but Minnestay was always quick to respond! They respond immediately through the app. Water was fixed later that day.
They had a scooter in the room, free coffee, and plenty of towels and sheets."

"This is a great spot and is just as nice as the photos! We were close enough to all the action, but wasn’t too loud. We were really comfortable and enjoyed our stay! The communication was very proactive, if a little disorganized. They were available for any of our requests!"

"Thank you for allowing us to use your beautiful space for a quick weekend away. The quick and efficient responses allowed us to check in with ease. The beautiful decor and extra supplies/amenities made us feel right at home. The security in the building was top notch as well. This is truly a 5-Star place that was beyond our expectation! "This condo was very cozy, clean, and had everything we needed for our short stay the city. The location was amazing, nearby many restaurants and shops. Overall we were very happy with our stay here and would definitely book again."

"This place was wonderful, very clean, and in a great location. The only issue we had was returning our keys on our way out, but even then the Minnestay team was accommodating to us and we got it all figured out! Would come back again."
