"The place was wonderful. It hosted 3 kids and 11 adults comfortably. No real crowding. They do have these pet gates that we used for our 1 year old toddler and it was very useful when they were out exploring the house. They were a bit cumbersome to use but otherwise it was fine. There is a spiral stair case that I would recommend people to walk down carefully as some individuals have almost slipped on. The family gathering spaces were amazing and was a blast to just hang out with each other to watch a movie. Overall, this place was just amazing. Of course the best part was the POOL! The kids loved to play in it multiple times a day."

The manager came immediately, but was unable to fix the dryer. The one drawback from the listing is that the pool table was not in good condition, at all! My family enjoys playing pool, and I consider a pool table a plus in a rental. It should be replaced or repaired or not be featured in the listing."

"We had plenty of room to spread out our 17 people! The indoor pool, theatre and billiard rooms were very useful. The netting on the catwalk above the pool was a nice safety touch. The dining room table was a great gathering space for all. The amount of chlorine in the pool was a bit too strong though, most of the kids broke out in a rash after swimming. The other reviews mentioned lack of enough pots and pans so we brought our own, and we were very glad that we did. All is all, a lovely weekend away that we would be happy to return to!"

The cooktop/vent hood needs updating (replacing) and the fireplaces do not work. That was disappointing. The management comped me a pet fee for the fireplace."

"Great stay for three families with young kids--lots of space to spread out and we had tons of fun. Loved the pool, of course, along with the sauna, the movie area, and the large dining room for crafts and meals.<br/>There were a few minor issues, mainly in the kitchen. Everything was made of plastic, which made sense for avoiding pool mishaps, but wasn't ideal for reheating meals in the microwave. The pots and pans were heavily scratched non-stick, which made cooking for the large group challenging. Also, the pool was pretty cloudy. <br/>These issues are easy enough to resolve and, considering all the positives of this place, we would stay here again!"

"When you pull up to the house you think it's small, but it was huge inside! We have a very large family and it was perfect for a long weekend for us. This is our Christmas gift to our kids and grandkids and it did not disappoint! The pool was a hit and it was a full size pool. The boys loved playing basketball in there and the younger ones loved floating around and playing in the pool with no time limits! We did bring our own floaties to use. Beach towels were provided there. The sauna was a big hit! I loved that the bedrooms upstairs are away from the pool table area, so the boys could play pool into the night and we didn't hear them. 3 1/2 bathrooms were great as that is always needed! We loved that we could put our truck in the garage for the weekend. The house is the last one on that street, so no traffic. They had plenty of extra throw blankets around to use in the comfy recliners when they watched TV upstairs. The bar area was perfect with round tables to play games and puzzles on. Only thing I would say is needed is extra garbage cans downstairs as we like to recycle and keep garbage separate. We also like to wash our dishes, so could have used a dish tray with some dish rags, towels and some scrubbies for the pans. Otherwise they have a dishwasher for use. We just had a lot of pans to clean and loved the big sink. There is Super Target close by if in need of items. Highly recommend this house for a get away! Thanks for a fun weekend!"

"The house was enormous, clean, and provided tons of things for all of us to do. It was well stocked and the owner went above and beyond to address any issues we had and resolved them quickly. Our only complaint was that the patio doors to the backyard are extremely difficult to open and close."

"This house is an awesome place to stay. It's very large, beautiful on the inside and outside. It was as described. The beds are comfortable, and the bathrooms are very clean. I want to say one of the best places I have stayed. Kids had a blast with the pool, and they had a very fun and pleasant stay. This is definitely a place where a big sized group can stay and be comfortable."

"We had a great time! The woods were beautiful and the SUPs were fun. The river is quite close and the short hike to get to it easy. The rooms were very clean and the beds were so comfortable. The futon sofas were a bit less comfy as one could feel the bars through the cushions but we were able to use some of the extra comforters as additional padding. Kitchen was great for cooking and buffet style meals as well as for a large group to gather and chat as we were preparing food. The large table let us all eat together. What was really nice was that there were pans and utensils available. That hasn't always been our experience so it was a relief that we didn't have to buy any of that stuff for our stay. It was easy to feel comfortable in this place and we settled in quickly. The information provided by Minnestay was thorough and set very clear expectations. And...the pool was great!"

"Great place for a large family with kids. The pool was great, the game room and movie room were also well received by the entire family. Beds are comfortable and linens are hotel quality. Host provided toothbrushes, paste, soaps, mouthwash, popcorn and snacks along with a whole bean bag of coffee - all nice touches. Good selection of kitchen accessories for cooking your own meals. Make sure to bring your own coffee (or grinder) as none is provided. If you have small children you may want to bring your own pack-n-play. A safety gate is not a bad idea either. The spiral staircase in the kitchen is a magnet for small children and they will tumble (as witnessed) like Jack & Jill straight to the bottom. Overall it was a good stay and would recommend to others. OH - and if someone parks in the driveway and breaks into the garage, its just the garbage man taking the trash cans to the curb. HA!"

"We planned a family winter weekend getaway, and the property provided a perfect location. The six spacious bedrooms meant everyone had their own room. All of the beds and furniture were very comfortable. The indoor swimming pool provided both the kids and adults with hours of entertainment during the Minnesota winter. We also had a pool tournament in the game room and enjoyed the movie theatre room. The kitchen and large dining table were perfect for our large family."

"This home was wonderful for a long weekend vacation/staycation with family! Tons of space, very comfortable, and lots of spaces to hang out. The kids loved the HUGE pool and the arcade games, and the pool table and loving room area were also excellent. Comfortable furnishings and plenty of towels. The kitchen had plenty of dishes and silverware for a very large group (all plastic, which we didn't mind at all since we had little ones in the group!), and basic pots/pans/etc but not a ton of other extras. Our only issue was we couldn't get the sauna to work--possibly user error, but we followed the directions. Would've been nice to have, but we still really enjoyed our stay and would rent again if the occasion arises!"
