## Description
Lakefront Hideaway is a special cabin maintained and built by a craftsman with over 25 years of experience in custom home building. Dubbed "Lakefront Hideaway" for its rustic charm, it boasts the classic log cabin allure you're looking for and will make you feel right at home.
The living space is filled with floor-to-ceiling windows, providing a beautiful view of the lake and those amazing Minnesota sunsets. For an even better view, head down to the dock and watch the sun set directly across the lake. The kitchen is fully stocked and includes a large island, offering plenty of counter space to cook or entertain, along with full-size, updated appliances.
Spread out over 1,700 square feet, Lakefront Hideaway comfortably sleeps 6 people. There is one queen bed in the main floor bedroom and another queen-sized bed in the upstairs loft area. In the second bedroom above the garage, there are 2 twin beds and ample room to accommodate a queen-size blow-up mattress. The loft includes a television with an assortment of classic VHS tapes, a comfy couch, and a chair. You can also spread out in the living room on the main floor with brand new furniture and enjoy the fireplace while playing games before bedtime.
Outside, you will find a large patio with a beautiful built-in fire pit, as well as a spacious yard for activities. With no residents or homes across the lake, your view is pure wooded forest. You can relax in the hammock, kayak on the lake, grill, or play bean bag toss, all of which are available when you book this cabin. The dock is large enough to accommodate a boat and/or jet ski, and public access is just down the street, making this the perfect quiet and relaxing cabin getaway.
Important notes include that you must drive on gravel roads to access the "Lakefront Hideaway" cabin. No pets are allowed inside the cabin or on the property, and shoes are not permitted inside. Candles are also prohibited, and there is no washer/dryer on site.
Parking is available for 1-2 cars in the driveway, and the garage is accessible from April to mid-October.

House rules state that all guests must be over the age of 25 unless part of a family unit, and verification may be required. All check-ins are contactless, requiring a photo of yourself holding your ID to verify your identity, which must be emailed or texted to our reservations department prior to check-in. Bookings made within 7 days of arrival will require additional credit card documentation. A Minnestay Rental Agreement must be signed prior to arrival, and you will need to provide your email address for this. No smoking is allowed inside the home, including e-cigarettes and vapes. This property may have a noise monitoring device inside, and additional devices may be located in gathering spaces outside. No events are permitted, as this home is designed for families and responsible adults. Restrictions include, but are not limited to, weddings, wedding celebrations, bachelorette/bachelor gatherings, and reunions. Pets are not allowed.
Please remember that you are staying in a private home and not a hotel. We expect you to treat it with respect. If any problems arise, we will do our best to resolve them quickly. Consumable amenities provided by Minnestay are not refilled during your stay. Quiet hours are from 10 PM to 7 AM, and we ask that you respect the permanent residents on either side of this property. "This lake home was exactly what we hoped it would be. The home was EXTREMELY clean and was private (except the neighbor's garage to the north of the property). The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to cook (which is good because there isn't anything nearby) and the bathrooms / linens provided were very nice. The lake itself was very quiet and small, which is what we liked. We were able to use the kayak's provided to go all the way around the lake in less than an hour. The water was a bit murky, so swimming wasn't good. We used the fire pit every night - it was so nice to have all the fire wood provided! We had spectacular sunsets every night and clear skies for amazing star gazing. The only draw back was no washing machine and dryer. Overall, this property exceeded our expectations and allowed us to have a very relaxing experience."

"We had fun at the cabin! The house and garage are stocked with lots of things for you and the kids to do. The cabin itself is beautiful and we loved the view from the loft! Our only disappointment is that the lot was smaller than we expected, so we could hear the stereo from the neighbors on one side whenever we were outside."

"This was a really nice clean cabin. It worked great for our family and as others have stated, they have everything you could possibly need within the cabin. The lake was a lot of fun and we enjoyed some fishing, waterskiing and tubing. The sunsets were also beautiful over the water! Thanks for being thoughtful hosts!"

"We absolutely LOVED staying at the Lakefront Hideaway cabin in Litchfield for new years! The property is beautiful, the lake was great for cross-country skiing on, and the home itself had everything you could think of. It was a perfect distance from the cities for a weekend away and the kitchen and bathrooms were stocked with everything you could possibly need. Everything from basic spices, oils, and pots and pans to a griddle, waffle maker, and small food processor. Perfect weekend away, thank you!!!!"

### A gem truly away from it all (5/5 stars)
"The house was perfect for our needs. Well stocked with towels and extra bathroom essentials. The lake was typically green for this time of year but that didn’t deter my relatives who stopped up from having a great time in it. The kayaks were great and the barbecue was sufficient. Nearest store was 10 minutes away which seemed shorter with each trip we made there. We had a few questions for Lance which he got back to us immediately. WIFI would be nice to have added there. Overall I would highly recommend staying there."

"We went here on a mini-honeymoon and loved it. We kayaked around the lake, went swimming, relaxed on the patio and on the hammock... what more could you ask for? The central AC works pretty well, though it makes a muted, high-pitched sound in the bedroom. Overall Minnestay was quite thoughtful in how they set it up and we loved it!"

"My family had the distinct privilege of being the first Airbnb-ers at this property! And what an amazing property it is!! The owners are super responsive, as was the property management company.
This Dunn’s Lake property is really beautiful. You can tell the owner was a true craftsman in all the fine details they’ve put into their place. It’s decorated perfectly and everything is new and updated.
You can sit on the porch and enjoy your morning coffee, or go out on the patio where you can have lunch or at nighttime you can sit by a roaring campfire. The kitchen inside is spacious and has literally everything you would need to make any meal.
The couches and gas fireplace were so comfortable to sit by. We played games from their big selection, built puzzles, floated in the lake, did some tubing and waterskiing, and especially got in some early morning fishing. We made memories my kids will surely never forget.
You can tell the owners have taken time to figure out exactly what their renters will need to have a great time on their vacation, they’ve got the place stocked with fun! Plus it’s only 1.5 hours from the Twin Cities!! We will be going again, very soon."

"There was one of four light bulbs out in the upstairs bathroom... and that is about all I could find that wasn't exceptional for this place. This place was clean and well stocked. We used the kayaks in the garage and loved it! There would be space to use an inflatable mattress or two if needed for sleeping arrangement, but we didn't need it. Overall, this was great space indoors and outdoors. Thank you!!"
