This 3-bedroom, 3-bathroom lakefront home offers the perfect getaway in Tonka Bay, nestled between Lake Minnetonka’s upper and lower lakes. Enjoy a private dock with a 26-ft boat slip, spacious backyard with a fire pit, propane fire table, lounge chairs, and propane grill. The chic interior is ideal for creating lasting memories. Located in a cove off Gideon Bay, it’s a short walk, bike ride, or boat trip to downtown Excelsior. Under Minnestay’s 5-Star management, this is your new favorite summer destination!
Layout:
Lakefront Cottage accommodates up to 3 cars. A private office welcomes you upon entry, with a 3/4 bathroom nearby. The fully stocked kitchen includes a 4-burner stove, dishwasher, and ample counter space, adjacent to the dining room with seating for 6. The cozy living room offers a large couch and Roku TV.
Upstairs, the primary bedroom features water views, a king bed, Roku TV, and an en-suite bath with a walk-in shower and dual shower heads. The two queen bedrooms offer Roku Smart TVs and share the third bathroom with a bathtub and shower combo. All 4 Smart TVs offer live cable, Hulu Live TV, Netflix, Disney+, ESPN+, and HBO Max.
The expansive backyard leads to the dock, perfect for a paddleboard ride or evening s’mores by the fire pit.
Dock Information:
The 26-ft boat slip is available on the west side of the dock, with occasional access by the owner’s boat. Advance notice is given.

- Bookings made within 10 days of arrival will require additional credit card documentation.

- Minnestay uses a third-party to screen the identity and check criminal databases for all guests in order to confirm a reservation. Guests will be required to complete the screening by responding to an email sent by the third-party. Complete terms regarding guest screening can be found on the Safely website, under Terms.
- No smoking inside of the home.
- This property may have a noise monitoring device on the interior of the home. Additional noise monitoring devices may be located in gathering spaces on the exterior of the home, as well.
- No events - This home is designed for families and responsible adults. Restrictions include, but are not limited to: Weddings and wedding celebrations, bachelorette/bachelor gatherings, and reunions.
- No pets allowed!
- Please respect the home and clean up after yourself!
- Quiet Hours: 10PM-7AM. We love our neighbors!! Please be respectful of the permanent residents on either side of this property.

"Excellent house on a small channel connecting to Lake Minnetonka. Ample parking for a boat trailer and 4 vehicles. Great beds, and kitchen. Outdoor amenities are the best, well the hot tub was inflatable but the fire pit was perfect. Only improvement could be a better coffee maker. +$500 per night and a super cheap $20 coffee maker is not ideal.
But I would definitely stay here again!"

"Fantastic girls’ trip at Lake Minnetonka! Beautiful house right on the lake. Well appointed and fit our group of 5 easily (3 bedrooms/3 baths). We loved waking up in the morning and having coffee looking out at the beautiful lake. Many of us also did yoga and meditated on the private dock. 5 minute drive from grocery store. Also close to all the fun restaurants and shops in both Excelsior and Wayzata. At night we enjoyed the fire pit and made quite a few s’mores. Would definitely recommend!"
